We Bisayans call this dish as Law-uy. It is just like the stewed meat with vegetables. It can be cooked using the crock pot or the stove top. My Mom always cooked this before when I was in Philippines. This is how it is prepared here. It has the following ingredients:
Pork Meat
noodles (canton and bean thread)
mixed vegetables (in cans or frozen mixed vege)
lemon grass (check your nearest filipino/asian stores)
greens (bok choy, pechay, spinach or kangkong)
chicken or pork bouillon cube
water or broth
Boil the meat first until tender. Add meat broth if necessary then add the noodles (soak bean thread in lukewarm water for 15 min before cooking), vegetables, bouillon cube, lemon grass, onion and pepper if desired. Simmer till cooked then add pechay or any greens. It may be kept in a crock pot to keep it warm when served.

Naa diay noodles ang Law-uy? As long as I can remember it's made up of fried fish or pork, squash cubes, okra, eggplant, malunggay leaves in a non-oily soup.
