Ginisang Kangkong

Here is a Filipino dish that you surely love. For Kangkong lovers like me, you should try this. Kangkong can be bought at your nearby asian or filipino store. You may substitute it with spinach as they are similar in taste. This ginisang kangkong is prepared easily. You will just need the following:
pepper (red or green)
meat (chicken or pork)
cooking oil
soy sauce
salt and pepper to taste
water (if necessary)
Heat (medium-heat) the cooking oil in the skillet then add garlic, onion, tomato and pepper till tender. Add the meat. Stir-fry for a few minutes until no pink remains or until cooked. Add a little bit of water. Let it boil; add kangkong and cover the skillet. After a few seconds, add soy sauce, salt and pepper to taste.

if i am not mistaken, this dish is also called adobong kangkong. i love it especially kangkong is a vegetable and considered healthy.

yup :) we call it adobo kangkong if there is no meat :)just plain kangkong with soy sauce
