Ginataang Gulay With Crab Meat

hmmmm yummmmy!

Hubby likes this recipe. Originally, there's no crab meat. I just added it. U may use Shrimp or any meat. Try it and ull love it!

Ginataang Gulay with Crab Meat


1 tablespoon oil

1/2 teaspoon minced garlic

1 small onion, chopped

1 cup coconut milk (or 1 can)

1/4 lb cooked Crab Meat (u can prepare as much as u like)

1/2 small kalabasa, peeled and cubed (i used an acorne squash)

1 bundle sitaw (green beans), cut into 1" length

salt and pepper to taste

2-3 slices siling labuyo (optional)


1. Heat oil then saute garlic and onions.

2. When wilted, add the coconut milk.

3. Let it simmer then add kalabasa and sitaw.

4. Add labuyo, if desired.

5. Cook until vegetables are tender.

6. Add crab meat.

7. Season to taste.

8. Serve while hot with rice :)

Note: U may add the vegetable together with the coco milk. Don't overcook the coco milk, it will become "BUKAYO" ( A coconut curd candy).
